Meet the dog that started it all!

This is Cooper! (Coop for short!) He is our short-haired, life-loving dachshund that protects the yard, keeps the squirrels out, and always knows when it's snack time.

While Cooper is a happy dog, his life has not always been.

A few years ago, we noticed Cooper's tail and back legs stopped working, as if they had become numb or lost complete feeling.

We rushed him to the vet, where Cooper was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), where the discs between the vertebrae of the spine were beginning to break down.

Luckily, we were able to catch it in time before it spread any further. Cooper qualified for spinal surgery with a high chance that he would regain much of his mobility and still live a full and active life.

After months of rehab, Cooper has gotten used to a new normal. He may not run as fast and his tail doesn't move like it used to, but he still knows how to chase those squirrels and protect the yard.

And he never forgot when snack time was.

So Why Coffee?

Being outside, watching Cooper enjoy life, brings us peace after seeing what he went through. Many times those peaceful moments are shared sitting on the patio having a great cup of coffee.

We wanted to share those moments as you enjoy your great cup of coffee and support other dogs in need.
