Brewing & Storage

Do you offer single-use (K-Cups) coffee products?

Yes! We have two coffees available for single-use purchase. Check out our Breakfast Blend or the Long Shot Espresso!

What is the best way to store Coop's Coffee?

Store in an airtight container at room temperature, away from light, heat, and moisture.

What beans are better for espresso machines?

Beans with a medium to dark roast that are finely ground are generally better for espresso machines, as they provide the rich flavor, body, and crema typically desired in espresso. Our Long Shot Espresso is sure to meet your expectations!

Does the age of the coffee matter when grinding or brewing?

Yes, the age of coffee matters—freshly roasted coffee provides the best flavor, while older beans may taste stale and lose aromatic qualities.

How much coffee should be used in ratio to water added?

Use 2 tablespoons (10 grams) of coffee per 6 ounces (180 milliliters) of water for drip coffee.

If I purchased whole bean coffee, when should I grind it?

You should grind whole bean coffee just before brewing to preserve its freshness, flavor, and aroma. Grinding in advance exposes more surface area to air, leading to faster flavor loss and staleness.
